Delete Account

You can request to delete your account in one of the following ways

• Open Saheel app and log in
• Go to Account tab at the bottom
• Click on Delete Account at the bottom of the page
• Click on Confirm Deletion button

Or by sending a request to us via the contact page mentioning your username and registered email.

When requesting account deletion

• Your account is disabled immediately and you cannot log in
• All your posts and bids disappear from the interface
• A 14-day period starts for account recovery if you change your mind
• After 14 days the account and all its data are permanently deleted

Upon final deletion the following is deleted

• Your name, email and phone number
• Date of birth, gender and city
• Profile picture
• Encrypted password
• Your bidding and purchase history
• Favorites and saved lists

For legal or accounting reasons we may retain some data for a limited period

• Records of completed financial transactions
• Invoices and tax receipts
• Payment records for completed auctions

This data is kept for a period not exceeding the legally required years and then permanently deleted.

After the 14-day period and final account deletion

• The account or its data cannot be recovered
• Any balance cannot be recovered
• Bidding history or favorites cannot be recovered

So be sure of your decision before confirming deletion.
